ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Media Buying Leader at Black Sapphire, you are responsible for the planning, strategizing, and execution of advertising campaigns for our Luxury Clients. You, with the support from our internal teams, will be a key stakeholder to scale the growth of different Luxury Products (jets, yachts, charters, memberships) in a profitable way.

You must have hands-on media buying experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads or others, however main expertise in Google Ads.

At the same time, you are expected to innovate, move fast and be highly adaptable to change since this role is critical for the growth of Black Sapphire and our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage $10,000-$100,000/mo  ad spend per client
  • Write ad copy and test new creatives (teaming up with our Designer who will make them)Daily brief campaign report to the team
  • Biweekly 15 min call with the client (or client team) to share ads status
  • Constantly on the lookout for new developments and tools in the fast-moving world of ad tech, and figure out how to bring them into Black Sapphire’s advertising ecosystem.
  • Ad Campaign Optimization: Plan and execute customer acquisition strategies through demand generation and remarketing campaigns utilizing search, paid social, video, and mobile advertising.
  • Measuring the Impact: Utilize tracking and analytics tools such as ad dashboards to measure campaign performance and to report insights to the management team.
  • Innovation and Growth: Following growth methodology, prioritize the most impactful ideas from your research, execute fast and present insights to the team.
  • Marketing Psychology: Apply marketing psychology to advertising campaigns, and making sure advertising creatives resonate with our clients’ target audience.
  • Eye for Aesthetic Creatives: Provide inputs and help to run experiments to level up Black Sapphire’s advertising creatives across all platforms.

REQUIREMENTS

  • More than $1,000,000 managed in ads in the last 3 years with positive ROAS (video will be required in the application)
  • More than $500,000 managed in Google Ads in the last 3 years with positive ROAS (video will be required in the application)
  • Share the 5 most beautiful creatives you’ve made (or had the original idea). In the application form.
  • Share the 3 highest ROAS Campaigns (with a screen recording sharing what you did, why it worked, etc.). In the application form.
  • BONUS: Show these results on the Yachts industry. Alternatively, with offline (luxury) sales—like real estate or other physical purchases.

COMPENSATION MODEL

  • You’ll start with 1-3 clients and get paid a retainer (per client) + % of your performance (results you deliver to the client)
  • After 2-3 months, if we are still a fit, you will manage 3-8 clients with the same basis (retainer + % results).
  • In the second phase, you can expect +$5,000/mo (retainer) + % (remember that you will advertise multi-million dollar yachts, our clients pay handsomely)

We start working together with a real client.

You’ll have more than $10,000 in ad spending at your disposal.
You’ll be advertising 6 to 8-figure yachts and +$100,000/year memberships
(which means you need to generate one high-ticket sale to hit the first monthly goal)

VI(a).  In the first 30 days partnering we’ll add +$100,000
to our client’s revenue and we’ll continue partnering
(to the $1MM in 90 days goal) with a 100% performance model
(you’ll get paid a handsome percentage of the sales you help generate).

VI(b).  In the first 30 days partnering you don’t break even on the ROAS. In that case, we will analyze the numbers and see if it’s feasible to hit the goals in 30 more days.
